Questions, answered
Is QR Nova free?
Yes. Every QR type, the full design studio, the scanner, barcodes, batch mode, widgets and exports up to 1024 px are free, with ads. Premium removes ads and unlocks HD and 4K exports, all Pro templates and unlimited saved presets. Free users can also unlock a single HD export, Pro template or extra preset by watching a short ad.
How much is Premium?
Choose monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase, all through Google Play. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app, and you can restore a purchase on a new phone with the same Google account.
Will my styled QR code still scan?
QR Nova checks this for you while you design. If the contrast is too low, a colour is too faint, the logo is too large or the background is too busy, you'll see a warning, and Auto-fix adjusts the style so the code reads reliably. For heavy styling, setting error correction to H (30%) gives extra headroom.
Can I change where a printed QR code points?
No. QR Nova creates static codes: the content is stored inside the code itself, so it works forever without any server, but it can't be redirected after printing. If you may need to change it, point the code at a page you control.
Do I need to sign up or stay online?
No account is needed, and creating, styling, scanning and exporting all work offline. Your codes, scans and presets are stored only on your phone. An internet connection is used just to show ads and handle purchases.
Which formats can I export?
PNG, JPG, WEBP, vector SVG and PDF, in 512, 1024, 2048 (HD) or 4096 px (4K), or any custom size from 128 to 8192 px. PNG, WEBP and SVG support transparent backgrounds.
